Perceptive Research is a company based in Burbank, California. The dream was to bring the worlds of marketing research together to rebuild accurate data collection for the benefit of the consumer and the producer. Our team is privileged to work in an industry that caters to public opinion, producer concepts, and a new age of consumer awareness all at the same time. That's why we are here. Services

​We have experienced working with the US Department of Commerce on census and enumeration projects. We performed address canvassing for commercial and residential properties. We also interviewed at homes, units, convalescent homes, and homeless shelters.

Temps/Moderators

Perceptive Research provides temps for any project. We will work with you if you need a moderator, project manager, interviewer, recruiter, tabulations assistant, data reviewer, assistant marketing director, receptionist, etc. We can staff your needs.

Census/Enumerator

​On many occasions, the most crucial part of quality control is confidentiality. We stand by that. We only use educated, well trained, and highly experienced team members on these projects. We closely monitor store operations, display set ups, shopper traffic, employee performance, and any other quality control measures requested.

Through screening, we effectively are able meet quota criteria, match needed characteristics, collect quick data, and save time. Screeners are always are timed and counted accurately. When necessary, screeners are always neatly stacked, stapled, or integrated with questionaires.

Our multi-ethnic interviewers come from various backgrounds, possess individual skill sets, and are experienced in diverse research areas. Folowing our quota, approaching respondents respectfully, and being thankful for their opinions demonstrate our professionalism, precision, and courtesy.

We have experienced personnel knowledgable of mapping on laptops and tablets. We are able to track shoppers and their shopping habits using navigational tools, animated softwares, and store model layouts. This job is not for everyone, so we use only those experienced in mapping, possess good directional senses, and computer literate.

Our seasoned taste test moderators are clean, etiquette, and probe for elaborate answers on open ended questions. We cater to grocery stores, club stores, fast food chains, or restaurants. We politely confront respondents without disturbing their visit or meal.

Observations require us using detailed and attentive measures that are above what is expected. Properly interpreting actions, studying shopping habits, and recording data precisely is our focus. Following instruction of the producer, project manager, and field supervisor helps all of us achieve our goal and meet expectations.

Following the guidelines of the project, we perform studies conducted covertly in the retail environment. We do mystery shopping and shop alongs. We understand that shopper roles, observations, and accurate reporting are important steps in the mystery shopping process.

Handheld PCs and/or tablets are ever increasing their efficiency with modern software technology. We are knowledgable in these areas by understanding syncing, briefing thoroughly, troubleshooting, downloading updated software, transmitting data, and recognizing glare issues.

Reading, writing, penmanship, probing, and understanding skip patterns are the key components we focus on when our field crew is at work. Precise data collecting, completed surveys, neat work, and promptness are what makes us stand out. Our service is to provide our clients with the most accurate data collected through surveys.

We screen and recruit respondents for research groups nationwide through phone interviews and online capabilities. We follow up with the respondents to ensure attendance and to properly fulfill quota obligations. We are constantly building a strong reliable database of diverse respondents.
